A court in Moscow fined Telegram 50,000 rubles for refusing to delete information about an official who was a citizen of Ukraine

The magistrate of the site No. 422 of the Tagansky district of Moscow, Timur Vakhrameev, fined the Telegram messenger for 50 thousand rubles because of the refusal to delete information about the employee Rosakkreditatsii (Part 5 of Article 13.11 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported from the courtroom by a RIA Novosti correspondent.

According to the agency, Roskomnadzor demanded that Telegram remove the post that the official was a citizen of Ukraine. The messenger refused to comply with this requirement, after which a protocol was drawn up. According to REN TV, the data of an employee of the Federal Accreditation Service was published in the AntiGOST telegram channel. Probably the woman's name is Lesya Len.

In June, the same judge Vakhrameev fined Telegram 4 million rubles for refusing to remove 32 channels in which Roskomnadzor found “inaccurate” information about the war in Ukraine.
