The Prosecutor General's Office submitted to the court the case of the Moscow traffic police major and his intermediary, who did it by breaking Daria Dugina for 3 thousand rubles

The Prosecutor General's Office approved the indictment of the traffic police inspector from Moscow, Major Ivan Rybin and his intermediary Daniil Chowdhury, who are accused of breaking through the data of Daria Dugina. After that, her car was blown up — this happened a year ago, on August 20, 2022.

The case will be considered in the Nagatinskiy District Court of Moscow. According to the database of the court, the materials have not yet been registered and the hearings have not been scheduled.

Rybin and Chowdhury are accused of illegal collection of personal data (parts 1, 2 of article 137 of the Criminal Code), and the traffic police inspector is also accused of exceeding his authority (part 1 of article 286 of the Criminal Code).

According to investigators, in the first months of the war in Ukraine, February-April 2022, Chowdhury “posted an announcement on the collection of confidential information in the messenger”, and Rybin entered Dugina’s data in the federal database of the State Traffic Inspectorate and sold them to Chowdhury for 3,350 rubles.

Who, in turn, made the order to Chowdhury himself and to whom he sent the received data, the prosecutor's office does not disclose, calling them «unidentified persons.»

Although both articles imputed to Rybin belong to the category of crimes of medium gravity, at the request of the Main Directorate of the Investigative Committee, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center in April 2023.

The car of 29-year-old publicist Darya Dugina, the daughter of the far-right philosopher Alexander Dugin, who actively supports the invasion of Ukraine, was blown up in August 2022 in the Moscow region. Then she was returning home from her father's performance at the festival in the Zakharovo estate.

The Investigative Committee found that a bomb with a 400 grams of TNT, laid under the bottom of the car on the driver's side. The FSB claims that it was installed by Ukrainian citizen Natalya Vovk, who rented an apartment in Dugina’s house for a month, followed her in a Mini Cooper car, and after the explosion left for Estonia.

In May 2023, Tula was also appointed to 3.5 years in prison for two men who were accused of forging a certificate of registration of Vovk's car.
