Brazilian Erivaldo Moriman with his bare hands fought off a jaguar and saved his nephews, writes the Daily Mail.
Moriman and his nephews, aged 15 and 18, went on a hike, they stopped on the Juruena River. In the morning the man went for a run, the teenagers stayed at the camp. Returning, Moriman found a predator at the tent.
The man began to wave his arms and shout to divert the attention of the animal to himself. The jaguar rushed at him, knocked him to the ground, dug his claws and bit him on the head. The man desperately resisted, tried to tear the predator's paws away from himself, and he miraculously succeeded. The animal retreated, and the family rushed to the boat and swam to the nearest medical post.
