The Kyakhta garrison military court in Buryatia sentenced junior sergeant Alexei Kalashnikov to a real term in the case of threatening to kill (Part 1 of Article 119 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the joint press service of the military courts. Tayga drew attention to the case.
Earlier, the serviceman was found guilty of leaving the unit without permission for more than 10 days, but less than a month, during the mobilization period (part 3.1, article 337 of the Criminal Code). However, the verdict in this case has not been published. Together, Kalashnikov was sentenced to three years and one month in a general regime colony.
According to investigators, the man, being drunk, put a blade to the girl's neck and threatened to kill her. According to the court, he did this “on the basis of personal hostile relations and with the aim of intimidating the victim.”
