In the Bryansk region, FSB officers, in cooperation with colleagues from the National Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, killed two Ukrainian soldiers and detained five more; we are talking about employees of the SBU, GUR and the Special Operations Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The arrest took place on August 30. According to the security forces, the Ukrainians planned to carry out a «series of high-profile terrorist attacks on military and energy infrastructure facilities» in Russia. How many there were people is unknown. The FSB claims that two were killed, five were detained, three of them were wounded.
Each of the soldiers had «an impressive baggage of various weapons», the agency added. As the security forces clarified, we are talking about machine guns with devices for silent firing, explosive devices, grenades, cartridges and night vision devices.
On August 30, two series of attacks took place in Bryansk — at night and early in the morning. First, two drones exploded in the city within half an hour. Later, two drones “tried to attack” the TV tower, but as a result, there was “no destruction” at the site, Governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz reported. for air defense systems «Shell» and missile systems «Iskander». In the building of the regional department of the Investigative Committee, windows were broken and the roof was damaged.
