MOSCOW, 29 Aug. Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov demanded that Polish companies return money for unfulfilled military orders. He stated this in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda.
According to the official, there are many firms in Poland that have not satisfied the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for ammunition. Among them are quite influential manufacturers of military equipment, he specified. In particular, Reznikov mentioned Alfa.
“This company offered us other types of shells, we are now studying whether they suit us. And then they will either supply them to us, or we will demand a refund,” he said.
The Minister added that some American enterprises also did not make the promised deliveries. The agency is already suing some of its Western partners, the article says.
Earlier, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the office of the President of Ukraine, said that Kiev would consider Poland as a close friend only until the end of the conflict. In peacetime, the two countries will begin to compete for consumer markets, the official said.
