NOVOSIBIRSK, September 1Ceilings partially collapsed in a cafe building in the city of Iskitim, Novosibirsk Region, 15 people were evacuated, two were slightly injured, the GUMCHS in the Novosibirsk Region told reporters.
According to the agency, the incident occurred on Thursday evening in an administrative two-story building on Komsomolskaya Street, where a cafe, a pizzeria and a canteen are located.
“The wooden elements of the attic floors collapsed in the pizzeria, covering an area of 20 square meters. 15 people (four visitors and 11 staff members) evacuated on their own … Two people were injured (released for outpatient treatment)”, – reported in the chapter.
The prosecutor's office and the Investigative Committee organized an investigation into the incident.
“The prosecutor's office will assess compliance with the requirements of the law in the operation and maintenance of the building. If there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken,” the supervisory authority said.
The Investigative Committee organized a pre-investigation check on the fact of the provision of services that do not meet the requirements of the safety of life or health of consumers.
