Putin raised the upper age limit for deferment from the army for employees of IT companies from 27 to 30 years

Vladimir Putin raised the upper age limit for deferment from the army for employees of IT companies. The document signed by the President is published on the official website of legal information.

From January 1, 2024, IT specialists will be given deferments from the army from 18 to 30 years. Now deferrals are provided for those who are under 27 years old.

In early August, Putin raised the draft age from 27 to 30 years. The current rule provides for a deferment for employees of accredited IT companies who have been working in them for at least 11 months and have a higher technical education.
