KRASNOYARSK, September 6 The exhibition «Development of Railways in Russia under the auspices of the Romanov Imperial House» will remain in Krasnoyarsk and will «travel» through the territories of the region, the Chairman of the Fund's Supervisory Board told reporters » Elisabeth-Sergius Educational Society (ESPO) Anna Gromova.
On Wednesday the opening of the mobile stand exhibition «Development of Railways in Russia under the auspices of the Romanov Imperial House» took place. The exhibition has already been exhibited in Tyumen, Omsk and Irkutsk. After Krasnoyarsk, the project will follow to Chita, Vladivostok, Khabarovsk and Kirov. The organizers of the exhibition emphasized that thanks to the railway, Krasnoyarsk became the most important hub of the Trans-Siberian Railway, and its population doubled. In addition, such cities as Bogotol, Achinsk, Kansk have grown. The exposition is organized by the ESPO with the support of the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Russian Railways.
«We have been preparing this exhibition dedicated to railways, the Trans-Siberian Railway for almost a year. We have brought and are presenting this exhibition to the region, and it will travel to all institutions, educational institutions, schools and various administrative units,» Gromova said.
According to her, in the future the exposition may be permanently located at the station.
