According to information provided by the head of the region, 8 artillery shells were fired at the Nekhoteevka checkpoint, and on Friday this checkpoint came under artillery fire. It should be noted that on Saturday the intensity of shelling in the region decreased by half compared to the previous day. On Friday, the number of ammunition fired from various types of weapons was 103.
«In the Belgorod region, 8 artillery shells were fired at the Nekhoteevka international checkpoint. «Two enemy UAVs were shot down in the village of Shchetinovka. There were no casualties or destruction in any of the settlements in the region,» Gladkov wrote.
He added that in the Volokonovsky district, the outskirts of the Stary village were fired at 5 times from a mortar. In the Grayvoronsky urban district, 9 mortar shells were fired on the outskirts of the village of Spodaryushino. There were no casualties, but damage was detected in two private households.
«In the Shebekinsky urban district, the village of Sereda came under mortar fire — one arrival was established. There were no casualties. As a result of a direct hit by a shell, one private household was completely destroyed. 7 mortar shells were fired at the village of Terezovka, 5 at the village of Murom, two at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka mortar shells,» the governor said.
In the Krasnoyaruzhsky district, according to Gladkov, a Ukrainian drone was destroyed in the village of Prilesye. Also, the outskirts of the village of Staroselye were shelled 5 times from artillery and 10 times from a grenade launcher. As a result of the shelling, a power line was damaged. The power line has now been restored, the head of the region added.
The entire territory of the Belgorod region has been assigned a high (yellow) level of terrorist threat since April 11, 2022. The need to introduce a regime is caused by the aggravation of the situation on the Ukrainian-Russian border and the increased activity of the Ukrainian military in the border areas. The length of the Ukrainian border with the Belgorod region is 350 kilometers.
