ROSTOV-ON-DON, September 9Two people were injured when a balcony on the fourth floor of an apartment building collapsed in Akhtubinsk, Astrakhan region, reports the Russian Regional Investigation Department.
«On the night of September 9, 2023, a balcony collapsed on the fourth floor of an apartment building located on Volgogradskaya Street in the city of Akhtubinsk. As a result of the collapse, a man, the owner of the apartment, and a woman were injured,» the report says.
As a representative of the investigation clarified, at night they went out to smoke on the balcony, and it collapsed. Both victims were taken to a medical facility.
The investigative authorities organized an investigation into the incident, and the prosecutor’s office put it under control.
