MOSCOW, September 11 The Basmanny Court of Moscow arrested in absentia the mayor of the Ukrainian city of Dnepropetrovsk Boris Filatov, the court’s press service reported.
“Filatov was arrested in absentia by the Basmanny Court of Moscow,” said the agency’s interlocutor, without giving details.
In April last year, the Russian Investigative Committee announced the initiation of a criminal case for incitement to genocide against Filatov. Later it became known that he was put on the wanted list.
