VLADIVOSTOK, September 11 Official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that over the past few years the United States has done everything to eliminate the Russian consular presence in the country. At the same time, the Russian side issues visas clearly, understandably and transparently.
“In particular, for the USA, visas are issued without any wild interviews, without the humiliation that the Americans came up with, especially without redirection to some countries to obtain visas, and this, despite the fact that American authorities have done everything over the past 5-7 years to destroy our consular presence in the states,” she said, speaking at a WEF session.
Zakharova recalled that “the largest consulates, the largest centers, a huge diaspora, a large number of compatriots, many people who worked were closed at the request of the American side.” She added that “despite this, visas (to the American side) are given clearly, understandably, transparently, by the way, importantly, kindly.”
