A court in Moscow sent to a pre-trial detention center a 60-year-old accused of setting fire to relay cabinets on a railroad.

The Basmanny District Court of Moscow sent 60-year-old Alexander Chestnykh, who is accused of a terrorist attack (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code), to a pre-trial detention center. Mediazona was informed about this by the press service of the court.

The Baza telegram channel reported about the detention of Honest on September 10 without indicating the sources of information. According to him, a 60-year-old resident of Balashikha near Moscow is charged with two arson attacks – on August 29 and September 7 at the Reutov station.

According to Baza, Honest was detained the day after the second arson. He told the security forces that he did it for $600 – the money was paid by a “curator from a telegram channel.”
