MOSCOW, September 12 The authorities’ decision not to raise taxes will allow businesses to have an additional regime of stability, says Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov, a member of the Budget Committee of the Federation Council.
The government does not yet see the need to raise taxes, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the plenary session of the WEF.
«»At the spring session (of parliament), a law on excess profit tax was adopted; in addition, the dynamics of energy prices has a positive movement. Moreover, on September 11, the Ministry of Finance announced that the dynamics of oil and gas revenues since the beginning of the year have significantly exceeded the budget» , — said the politician.
According to him, all these factors indicate the stability of the budget situation and the absence of the need for additional tax increases. “Therefore, the president’s statement undoubtedly inspires confidence and will allow businesses to have an additional regime of stability, which is very important in the current situation,” concluded Shenderyuk-Zhidkov.
