A Su-24 plane crashed in the Volgograd region. This was reported by Baza and v1.ru.
The bomber crashed near the Lozhki farm in the Kalanchevsky district of the region. According to source v1.ru, he was on a training flight.
“The plane was without ammunition, there was no destruction on the ground. With the pilots, most likely, everything is bad. Now a search operation is underway, they are looking for people,” the interlocutor told v1.ru.
As reported by the Ministry of Defense, the Su-24 crashed in a deserted area. Mi-8 helicopters were sent to the crash site.
