MOSCOW, September 12The situation with fuel delivery to Crimea has returned to normal, despite logistical difficulties; The region is provided with gasoline for 10-12 days, liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) for 12 days, and diesel fuel for 5 days, the Russian Ministry of Energy told reporters.
“Despite the objective difficulties with the delivery of goods to the Crimean peninsula, the situation with fuel supplies has returned to normal. Today, the region is provided with motor gasoline for 10-12 days, LPG – for 12 days, diesel fuel – for 5 days. A rhythmic supply of all types of motor fuel from refineries and along the route,” the statement says.
Earlier on Tuesday, the head of Crimea Sergei Aksenov said that new options for supplying fuel to the peninsula had been found, which should eliminate its temporary shortage. The regional administration also sent proposals to the Russian government to resolve the situation with fuel prices. On Monday, Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev announced that the shortage of diesel fuel at gas stations will be eliminated due to the incoming batch of fuel. He noted that the rise in prices is associated with objective reasons, and at some gas stations is unfounded.
On Friday, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak held a meeting with the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Agriculture and oil workers, where the companies promised to supply farmers with the fuel they need industry volume. At the same time, the meeting participants noted the absence of a shortage of gasoline and diesel fuel.
