The Presnensky District Court of Moscow partially satisfied the claim of actor Danila Kozlovsky against professional informer Vitaly Borodin, who in the spring wrote complaints against him to the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Mediazona was informed about this by the press service of the court.
Borodin was ordered to remove controversial statements about Kozlovsky from his telegram channel, publish a refutation and pay him 1 ruble — as symbolic compensation for moral damage.
As a Life.ru correspondent reports from the courtroom, we are talking about Borodin’s April post, which was dedicated to his denunciation of the actor to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
In particular, the court found defamatory the words of the informer that the actor in an interview with Irina Shikhman in the spring of 2021 allegedly “clearly called for taking our citizens out onto the streets, to rallies with different slogans» and ««.
Who lives at the bottom? There are hundreds of “professional” informers in Russia — Mediazona spoke with several of them
Borodin, previously known for his denunciations of independent media, also demanded that the security forces check the post that Kozlovsky released three days after the start of the war in Ukraine.
“What is happening now is a disaster. In every sense <…> Dear Mr. President, forgive me for addressing you directly, but only in your power to stop this terrible disaster. — wrote the actor. — And we don’t “those citizens who are against,” as one of the high-ranking officials says, and we are residents of our country, which we love most of all <…> My name is Danila Kozlovsky and I am against war. I say this on my own behalf and only on my own behalf and from my heart.”
Shortly after Borodin’s denunciation, the Maly Drama Theater in St. Petersburg postponed performances with the participation of Danila Kozlovsky, after which he announced he was going on vacation until the end of the year. In May, the MDT itself, whose head Lev Dodin wrote a personal letter to Putin against the war in Ukraine, was temporarily sealed and fined under an article for violating sanitary and epidemiological standards.
