An all-wheel drive pickup truck of the Chinese brand was brought by the AutoSpetsTsentr Group of Companies. The model can be bought in the Russian Federation for no less than 3.8 million rubles.
The Chinese company Foton introduced the full-size Tunland G9 pickup truck in the fall of 2020, its feature was a “square” design, which borrowed a lot from the most popular car in the States — Ford F-150 truck of the previous generation: this can be seen in the design of the massive radiator grille, the dual rectangular headlights, and the angular lower part of the front bumper with integrated foglights.

In the home market, the flagship Foton Tunland G9 pickup truck underwent an update last fall. During the restyling, the model received a different interior: the design of the front panel was changed, which was equipped with a seven-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.25-inch multimedia touchscreen. At the same time, the pickup truck improved the quality of materials for interior decoration, changed the central tunnel, and also increased the number of color options for the interior decoration.
Now AutoSpetsTsentr Group has brought the current all-wheel drive Foton Tunland G9 pickup truck to the Russian Federation. Prices vary depending on the selected configuration; the starting cost of a Chinese truck is 3,800,000 rubles. The length of the full-size track is 5310 mm, the width is 1960 mm, and the distance between the axles is 3110 mm. The car is capable of towing trailers weighing up to 1500 kg.

The pickup truck brought to the Russian market received climate control, keyless entry to the interior, leather trim, an electrically adjustable driver's seat, as well as wireless charging of smartphones and a rear view camera, the image from which is displayed on the touchscreen infotainment screen.
Under the hood of the Foton Tunland G9 all-wheel drive pickup truck there is a 2.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel engine, its output is 163 hp and its maximum torque is 390 Nm. It is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. On the domestic market, the model is still available with a 238-horsepower gasoline turbo engine of the same volume (360 Nm).
Last In the spring, it became known that Foton would bring the latest pickup trucks to Russia: we are talking about the Mars 7 and Mars 9 models, which were presented in April. Both trucks are equipped with a 2.0-liter Cummins turbodiesel (163 hp, 450 Nm), which, as part of a mild hybrid system, works in tandem with a 48-volt electric booster. The pair offers either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed hydromechanical ZF automatic. Drive — rear or all-wheel drive.
More recently, the Foton Toano light commercial vehicle was presented at the stand of Avtodom Group of Companies and MB Rus JSC as part of the Comtrans-2023 exhibition. It is known that it will be presented in the Russian Federation in two modifications — an all-metal van and a passenger bus.
