Elections for the mayor of Moscow were held from September 8 to 10. According to the final results, Sobyanin received 76.39% of the votes, 2,499,114 people voted for him. The final turnout for the Moscow mayoral elections was 42.5%.
On Tuesday, the Moscow City Election Commission recognized the elections as valid and valid.
In the last mayoral elections of Moscow, held in 2018, Sobyanin received 70.17% of the votes, 1,582,762 people voted for him. The turnout then was 30.96%.
