BRATISLAVA, September 14 Slovakia expels one of the Russian Embassy employees in Bratislava, the press service of the Republic's Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
“Slovakia today decided to expel an employee of the Russian Embassy in the republic. The reason is his activities contrary to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” says a statement from the Slovak Foreign Ministry.
In The country's Foreign Ministry clarified that the employee of the Russian diplomatic mission in respect of whom the decision was made must leave Slovakia within 48 hours. “In this regard, the diplomatic department invited the Russian Ambassador to Slovakia, strongly urging him to ensure that the embassy and its staff fulfill their functions in accordance with the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations,” the Slovak Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
