MOSCOW, September 14 .The film “Barbie”, dubbed by actress Tatyana Shitova – the official voice of Margot Robbie, will be released in Russian cinemas from September 14, reported the VKontakte group of the professional translation, dubbing and dubbing studio for TV series and films Red Head Sound.
“Well, let's go: Playful Ryan Gosling announces that he did not die at the end of “Barbie”, and also that from today the film of the year is dubbed by Red Head Sound with the official voices of Margot Robbie, Ryan himself, Simu Liu, Will Ferrell, Kate McKinnon and others are starting to be shown in the following cities of the Russian Federation,” the message says and then provides a list of cities and cinemas.
The Kinomax cinema chain will show “Barbie” as part of the Kinotheka project of the Filmoteka company, which rents the cinema halls, the RHS studio added. In addition, shows will be held in more than 120 cities of Russia: from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok, Voronezh and Yekaterinburg, Blagoveshchensk, Surgut, Tver, Omsk, Yakutsk and Crimea.
Earlier, in the same group of the VKontakte studio, when announcing the rental, the organizers warned potential viewers that the shows that started earlier were not pure digital images.
“Starting September 14, you can expect a clear digital picture and high-quality atmospheric sound with the official voices of Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, Will Ferrell, Simu Liu and others! Screenings around the country started earlier, but, as far as we know, now in cinemas they are showing a leaked video version of the film with cropped Korean subtitles,” the message says.
Tatiana Shitova's director David Valiani confirmed her participation in the dubbing of “Barbie”, noting that “this is being done purely as a fan.” Shitova voiced the characters of Margot Robbie in the films “The Wolf of Wall Street”, “Suicide Squad”, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” and others. Her voice is also used in the Russian box office by the characters of Scarlett Johansson, Cameron Diaz, Natalie Portman, and Emma Stone.
The Russian Ministry of Culture stated that the department did not receive applications for the distribution of the films “Barbie” and “Oppenheimer”. Also, earlier Moscow cinema chains denied reports about the possible distribution of these two films, in particular, the press service of the Karo network stated that pirated films are not shown in their cinemas.
