MOSCOW, September 16 Russian air defense systems shot down 270 Ukrainian drones and 19 HIMARS MLRS shells in a week, the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Saturday in the department’s telegram channel.
““Air defense systems intercepted 19 rockets from the HIMARS multiple launch rocket system, and also destroyed 270 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles,” says the weekly report of the Russian military department.
In addition, last week Russian fighter jets shot down a Ukrainian military helicopter Mi-8 near Krasny Liman.
In total, since the beginning of the special operation, 472 Ukrainian military aircraft, 249 helicopters, 6810 unmanned aerial vehicles, 437 anti-aircraft missile systems, 11881 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1150 combat vehicles of multiple launch rocket systems, 6403 guns have been destroyed field artillery and mortars, as well as 13035 units of special military vehicles.
