MOSCOW, September 17, Vlad Zhukov. Winner of the Olympic team tournament figure skaters Kamila Valieva admitted that her short program for the 2021/2022 season gives her special feelings.
Test skates of the Russian national team are held on Saturday and Sunday. Valieva performed new programs – a short program to the song I See Red, and a free program to the soundtrack from the film “Black Panther. Wakanda Forever”.
“”Each program has its own charm. “Girl on the Ball” – this was a very delicate, sonorous child standing in front of you, trying to show emotions. And “Storm” had a charm. But the short program of the Olympic season evokes special feelings in me. Because when you connect performances with something from life, they become iconic,” Valieva told reporters.
The figure skater noted that she would be interested in becoming an actress. “Let's see. 17 years – so many thoughts in my head! An actress – because we are on the ice, essentially, actors. We are on stage and convey the mood according to the image. Therefore, this is very close to me. But an actor and an actress are also something – something related to speech. This will have to be done. But I have a desire,” Valieva emphasized.
