Experts note that the share of cars pledged decreased by 11% compared to the same period in 2022. According to the results of a study by Avtoteka, in 2023, Chinese brands became leaders among pledged cars. Most often, Haval cars were pledged — the brand accounted for 17.7% of all inspected cars pledged across the country in January-August of this year. In second place is another brand from the Middle Kingdom — FAW (12.9%). The third place is occupied by the Japanese brand Datsun (9%). The top 5 among the brands whose cars were most often pledged are Geely (8.8%) and Chery (7.8%).

Cars of the Daewoo brand were the least likely to be bailed out (0.9%). Also, practically no Dodge (2.2%), Honda (2.4%), FIAT (2.4%) and Suzuki (2.7%) were bailed in 2023.
