WASHINGTON, September 18 The son of US President Hunter Biden filed for sued the tax service, accusing it of failing to protect his personal data from disclosure.
The basis for the lawsuit, which was filed in federal court in the District of Columbia metropolitan area, was the actions of Internal Revenue Service employees Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler, who made public statements, gave media interviews and testified to Congress.
The claims against the IRS are that it, according to Biden Jr., “knowingly and intentionally” failed to take “administrative, technical and/or physical measures” to ensure the security and confidentiality of the plaintiff’s personal information.
The list of demands includes one thousand dollars in compensation for each instance of unauthorized disclosure of tax data.
