Earlier, Anton Belov, an artist at the Theater in the South-West, reported on his page on the social network VKontakte that the Soviet and Russian actor Vyacheslav Grishechkin, who played in the TV series “Soldiers,” died at the age of 62.
“Grishechkin stood at the origins of the Theater in the South-West, a glorious, unforgettable era of this theater is associated with his name. While still a student at GITIS, Vyacheslav already played in our theater under the direction of Valery Belyakovich,” said the actor’s colleagues.

Khlestakov in «The Government Inspector», Tarelkin in the play «The Death of Tarelkin», King Louis in «Molière», Mercutio in «Romeo and Juliet», Zhevakin in “Marriage”, Baron in “At the Lower Depths” are the actor’s most famous roles.
Grishechkin also successfully acted in films, where he played more than 160 roles.
In 2009, he headed the Volzhsky Drama Theater. Since 2017, he has directed the theater studio at the Moscow University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.
