MOSCOW, September 17 RF Armed Forces at Yuzhno-Donetsk direction, three attacks of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repulsed in one day, the enemy lost up to 170 military personnel and seven pieces of equipment, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Sunday.
“In the South Donetsk direction, the courageous actions of units of the Vostok group of forces, in cooperation with aviation and artillery, during the day three attacks by assault groups of the 35th and 36th marine brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Staromayorskoye, Donetsk People's Republic and Priyutnoye, Zaporozhye region,” the Ministry of Defense reported.
In addition, air strikes and artillery fire caused defeat of the manpower and equipment of the 72nd mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Ugledar area and the 108th territorial defense brigade in the Voskresenka area in the DPR.
“Enemy losses amounted to up to 170 Ukrainian military personnel, two armored combat cars, five vehicles, as well as an electronic warfare station,” the department added.
