DONETSK, September 18 At 15.45, Ukrainian troops fired five missiles from the MLRS at the Kuybyshevsky and Kievsky districts of Donetsk, the DPR representative office in the Joint Center reported control and coordination of issues related to war crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
“Recorded shelling from the Ukrainian Federal Unitary Forces (armed formations of Ukraine – ed.) in the direction: 15.45 – Orlovka settlement – Donetsk city (Kuibyshevsky and Kievsky districts): five missiles were fired from the MLRS,” says a message published on the telegram channel of the representative office.
The type of MLRS is not specified. Nothing is known about the consequences yet.
Kuibyshevsky district is located in the west of Donetsk, and Kyiv district is in the northern part of the city. Since 2014, when the DPR declared independence from Kyiv after a coup d'etat there, the area has regularly come under fire from Ukrainian security forces. The northern outskirts of the area is considered to be an airport, completely destroyed as a result of months of fighting between the Ukrainian military besieged there and the Donetsk militias who stormed their positions.
