MOSCOW, September 19 Russian mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Alexander Volkov said that he took a break for a couple of weeks after the fight with Australian Tai Tuivasa, after which he will rush into the race for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight championship belt with renewed vigor.
Volkov defeated Tuivasa on September 9 as part of the UFC 293 fighting tournament in Sydney and won his third victory in a row. The fight ended in the second round after a choke hold by the Russian.

Alexander Volkov is 34 years old, he has 37 victories (24 by knockout) with ten defeats in the octagon.
