MOSCOW, September 18 The artistic director of the Moscow Oleg Tabakov Theater Vladimir Mashkov said that he is ready to proudly accept the offer to be a confidant of Vladimir Putin in the upcoming presidential elections, if it comes.
Mashkov was already among Putin’s confidants in the presidential elections, as well as Sergei Sobyanin’s confidant in the elections for the mayor of Moscow.
«Being a trusted person is a great honor for any citizen. And in this sense, my life is inextricably linked with my homeland, and our leaders inspire admiration for me. And for me it is a great honor and pride. This is an offer, if it will do, I, of course, will accept it with great pride and honor,” Mashkov said, answering the question whether he is ready to become a confidant in Putin’s election campaign if he goes to the polls.
The presidential elections in the Russian Federation are scheduled for March 2024.
