MOSCOW, September 19 Theater and film actor Alexei Yanin died at the age of 40, the Russian Academic Youth Theater (RAMT) reported on its VKontakte page.
“The relatives of Alexei Yanin reported that Lesha passed away today. Since September 2, he was in intensive care, but his heart could not stand it…” the publication says.
It is specified that the time and place of farewell to the artist will be announced later.
In May 2015, Yanina had a stroke. The illness and the trepanation performed led to problems with speech and memory.
In early September, a message appeared on the RAMT website that Yanin had died. The post was later deleted. The actor's wife reported on social networks that the doctors were mistaken; in fact, her husband is alive and in a coma in extremely serious condition.
The actor was born on March 14, 1983 in Moscow. In 2004 he graduated from the Shchepkin Theater School and joined the RAMT. He is best known for his roles in such films and TV series as “The Judge”, “Stronger than Fate”, “One Never Parts with Loved Ones”, “Odnoklassniki”, “Club”, “Mothers and Daughters”, “Students”. His filmography includes 34 films.
