About 70 victims of the explosion in Karabakh are being treated in Yerevan

YEREVAN, September 26 About 70 victims explosion in Nagorno-Karabakh are being treated at the burn center in Yerevan, said Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan.
«67 victims were taken to the National Burn Center in Yerevan. The condition of most of them is extremely serious, severe. The condition of a small number of victims is moderate,» Avanesyan told reporters.

On Monday evening, the Armenian state agency «Armenpress» reported that a strong explosion occurred at a gas storage facility near the Stepanakert-Askeran highway, over 200 people were injured.

On Tuesday, the agency said that seven victims could not be saved and died in hospital, and 13 unidentified bodies were transported to the medical examiner's office.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that military doctors of the Russian special-purpose medical detachment provide emergency qualified and specialized medical care to civilians of Nagorno-Karabakh who sought it after a fuel explosion on the territory adjacent to the Stepanakert-Askeran highway. According to the head of the RMK medical detachment, Pavel Suslov, as of early Tuesday morning, 23 civilians with burns to the upper respiratory tract, arms and legs contacted the medical detachment due to the situation.
