TOKYO, September 26 A high school student who stabbed three people in a shopping mall in Japan admitted that he “wanted to kill someone,” NHK reported.
The high school student is 18 years old and did not know the victims. According to police information, he had purchased a knife with a 17-centimeter-long blade earlier in the same shopping center.
On Monday, a young man stabbed two women at the Riverside Senshu shopping center in Niigata Prefecture in Japan. One of them was hospitalized, but was conscious, the second did not require hospitalization. The attacker was detained. During the arrest, he managed to wound another man, an employee of the shopping center, but the injuries were minor.
Police continue to investigate.
