MOSCOW, October 2The Nobel Prize in Medicine for 2023 was awarded to Katalin Kariko and Drew Weissman for the development of mRNA vaccines against COVID.
The Nobel Committee announced this in Stockholm at the Karolinska Medical Institute.
The work of scientists helped in the creation of the Moderna and BioNTech/Pfizer vaccines.
