Losses amounted to more than 50 command officers
The Ukrainian army suffered the most serious losses of command personnel since the beginning of the Northern Military District: the headquarters of the separate tactical group “Soledar” in the village of Alexandro-Kalinovo was destroyed. The command post was located deep in the rear, was well protected and camouflaged, and Zelensky visited it in August. Space reconnaissance helped identify the control post, and it was destroyed by a FAB-1500 gliding one and a half ton aerial bomb.
This headquarters coordinated the actions of units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Artemovsk direction, that is, it led the units that have been trying to recapture Bakhmut for four months now and are attacking the flanks of our group, including in the Kleshcheevka area.
The headquarters was located several tens of kilometers from forward, out of range of our artillery. The FAB-1500 high-power aerial bombs that recently appeared in service with our Air Force helped to get it. After being dropped from an airplane, they are capable of flying 50-70 kilometers and accurately hitting a target.
The video that appeared on social networks shows that nothing was left of the Ukrainian Armed Forces command post. Debris clearance continues. About 50 military personnel were killed, many were wounded, some of whom were evacuated to Rzeszow, Poland, from where they will be distributed for treatment to hospitals in NATO countries.
Communication and control of Ukrainian Armed Forces units in this sector of the front have been disrupted. All intelligence data, including videos from reconnaissance drones, flowed to the command post and the operational situation was analyzed. The CP communicated with the Ukrainian General Staff, coordinated the actions of subordinate units, and carried out their rotation. From here, CP officers, being at a safe distance from the front line, could observe the “meat assaults” of their units. Zelensky visited here in August.
According to military experts from the Southern Front channel, “this is the largest loss of command personnel that Ukraine has ever experienced on the front line.”
Soledaro- The Artemovsk direction is in the zone of responsibility of our Southern Group of Forces. Here is a recent report from the Russian Ministry of Defense from this direction: our artillery and aviation hit 2 ammunition depots of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Belogorovka and Aleksandro-Shultino, the temporary deployment point of the 80th separate air assault brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Chasov Yar.

At the very least, it is unlikely that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be able to restore control of units at the proper level before the start of the thaw.
