WASHINGTON, Oct 3 American entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk has estimated that the private space company SpaceX, which he heads, will deliver about 1,600 tons of cargo into orbit in 2023, compared to 400 tons from the rest of the world.
“»SpaceX is on track to deliver about 1,600 tons of cargo into orbit this year. The rest of the world will deliver about 400 tons,» he wrote on the social network X.
At the same time, Musk clarified that most of the cargo that is delivered into space by the rest of the world comes from China.
In August, Musk predicted that SpaceX was on track to put up to 80% of all cargo delivered from Earth into low-Earth orbit. According to Musk, another 10% is put into orbit by China, and the remaining share is distributed among other countries.
