The Zheleznodorozhny District Court of Krasnoyarsk arrested a 17-year-old teenager accused of undergoing training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities (Article 205.3 of the Criminal Code). This was reported in the telegram channel of the press service of the regional courts.
In addition, the teenager was charged with failure to report to the authorities about an impending terrorist attack (Article 205.6 of the Criminal Code). The teenager will remain in the pre-trial detention center until December 3; the court press service did not disclose other details of the case. The case file has not been published on the court website.
In August of this year, TASS, citing sources in law enforcement agencies, reported that a ninth-grader was arrested in Krasnoyarsk, suspected of preparing a terrorist attack on a local market. According to the agency, a 16-year-old teenager was detained “while purchasing components for an improvised explosive device.” According to a TASS interlocutor, during a search, “chemical substances and smoke bombs” were found on the teenager.
Telegram channel Baza wrote that it was about a student of Krasnoyarsk gymnasium No. 9, who is suspected of preparing an explosion at the Kirov market ( Part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code, Part 1 of Article 205 of the Criminal Code).
In September, security forces detained a 15-year-old teenager from the Minusinsk district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The Investigative Committee reported that a case had been opened against him for preparing for a terrorist attack, training in terrorist activities and illegal production and storage of explosive devices. Another schoolboy from Krasnoyarsk, born in 2008, is suspected of knowingly falsely reporting a terrorist attack at school (Part 2 of Article 207 of the Criminal Code).
