The farewell to 34-year-old navigator Khushbakht Tursunov, who died along with flight mechanic Nikita Kiryanov when traitorous pilot Maxim Kuzminov hijacked an Mi-8 helicopter to Ukraine.
The widow of Khushbakht Tursunov, who attended the funeral with her little son, said her husband was a kind and helpful man. She expressed the hope that the traitor Maxim Kuzminov would be “found and killed,” RT reports.
The farewell ceremony was held with full military honors. However, the coffin remained closed. The navigator's funeral will take place in Tajikistan according to local traditions. Most of the deceased soldier’s relatives live there, including a sister and a seriously ill father, reports the portal E1.RU.
