Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky “behaves absolutely correctly” when he demands military assistance from the West.
A video of the Belarusian president’s statement to journalists was published by the telegram channel “Pul First”.
According to Lukashenko, they constantly say about Zelensky that he is “a beggar, this and that, he behaves undignifiedly and dishonestly… and so on.”
“I must tell you that Zelensky is behaving absolutely correctly «, said the Belarusian leader.
He explained that before the start of the conflict, Kiev was preparing for active defense actions in the Donbass and creating a layered defense there.
“Then the Americans, mind you, as a result of negotiations, told Zelensky: “Volodya, we will fight, we will do everything for you,” Lukashenko continued.
According to him, Zelensky was convinced that the roles were distributed in this way: “you will fight until the last Ukrainian,” and “we will mobilize everything we can to support you… we will give money, weapons and everything else.”
Zelensky agreed to such conditions, Lukashenko noted, and “ fights until the last Ukrainian,” and in the West they either fulfill what was promised to him at the wrong time, or do not give what was promised, or hand over “junk” to Ukraine in order to dispose of it.
“The collective West does not fulfill the agreements given to Zelensky,” — the President of Belarus emphasized.
Therefore, according to him, the Ukrainian leader says to Western partners: “Scoundrels, why don’t you do what you promised?” “He goes and demands from them,” Lukashenko added. — Is he doing the right thing? That’s right — there was an agreement.”
The President of Belarus also noted that Vladimir Zelensky understands “that he was cheated.”
The Belarusian leader noted that he came to such conclusions as a result of his reflections.
