MOSCOW, Oct. 5. People's Artist of Russia Natalia Koroleva died at the age of 76, according to the website of the Irkutsk Academic Drama Theater named after N.P. Okhlopkov.

"The loss of the theater is great. Natalia Koroleva is an actress of enormous talent, utmost sincerity, and rare intellectual depth. Her talent included the rich treasures of an uncooled heart, healing irony, life-affirming optimism,” the publication says.
The actress passed away on October 3, on the eve of the tour. The cause of death is not reported.
Natalia Koroleva was born on April 5, 1948. In 1966 she graduated from the Sverdlovsk Theater School, after which she entered the city Youth Theater. She played in the drama theaters of Novocherkassk, Arkhangelsk and Cherkessk, and since 1983 — in the Irkutsk Drama Theater. On this stage, the actress played almost all the iconic roles of the world repertoire, rising to unprecedented heights in the performances based on Valentin Rasputin “The Deadline” and “Farewell to Matera.” Among her stage works are Vasilisa from Gorky's play «At the Depths», Eva in «Have Fun, Negress», Anna Timireva in «The Admiral's Star», Jocasta in the play «Oedipus the King», Arkadina in «The Seagull», Malvina in «The Golden Key» «, Queen Anne in The Three Musketeers.
