SOCHI, Oct. 5 Russian President Vladimir Putin , speaking about the importance of discussing environmental issues, said that he hopes for an early meeting with the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Japarov.
«We must not forget about the environment. This is all in our field of vision, including with our Kyrgyz friends. We know about this. We are working on it. We constantly discuss this with the current Prime Minister. I hope we We will see him at the CIS summit in the near future and we will also talk about this. So everything is on the agenda. We understand that this is important for our countries,» Putin said at a meeting of the Valdai international discussion club.
Valdai International Discussion Club is an association of leading foreign and Russian experts in the field of political science, economics, history and international relations. The club was created in September 2004 on the initiative of the agency, the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy, the Moscow Times newspaper, the magazines «Russia in Global Affairs» and Russia Profile.
Since 2014, the club has moved from the format of “telling the world about Russia” to practically oriented work on shaping the global agenda, to a qualified and objective assessment of world political and economic problems.
