MOSCOW, October 5 Prize places for all participants The organizing committee of the Andrei Stenin International Photojournalism Competition will name the shortlist on October 19 at a ceremony at the State Historical Museum (GIM). It will also reveal the main intrigue of the competition — the winner of its main award, the Grand Prix, will be announced.
The international jury of the competition in 2023 selected from about three thousand works sent from five dozen countries, 29 winners — young photographers, including from China, India, Great Britain, France, Russia, Greece, Egypt.
The ceremony at the State Historical Museum also will give rise to the traditional exhibition tour of photographs of the competition laureates. The international roadshow has already planned stops at gallery venues in India, Serbia and the UAE.
About the Competition
The Andrei Stenin International Photojournalism Competition, organized by the Rossiya Segodnya media group under the auspices of the Russian Commission for UNESCO, aims to support young photographers and attract public attention to the challenges of modern photojournalism. This is a platform for young photographers — talented, sensitive and open to everything new, where they draw our attention to the people and events around us.
