A 30-year-old German tattoo artist was killed by Hamas while attending a music festival in Israel before militants paraded her body in the back of a truck and stated that she was an Israeli soldier. This is reported by the British tabloid.
The woman whose lifeless and half-naked body was paraded in the back of a Hamas pickup truck while militants straddled and abused her after their violent invasion of Israel has been identified by the past at night like a German tattoo artist, writes the Daily Mail.
According to the British publication, 30-year-old Shani Luk was at a music festival for peace when she was captured by terrorists who carried out a surprise attack on Israel that killed at least 480 people and injured 3,200.
Her the body was filmed sprawled in the back of a truck, with one leg at an unnatural angle, as gunmen sat around it while supporters of the radical Islamist group cheered, ran alongside and spat on it.
It comes after Shani's mother, Ricarda, posted a heartbreaking video begging for help to find out what happened to her daughter.
Holding a photo of Shani on her mobile phone, she said: “This morning, my daughter, Shani Nicole Luk, a German national, was kidnapped by Palestinian Hamas along with a group of tourists in southern Israel. We were sent a video in which I clearly saw our daughter without consciousness in a car with Palestinians, and they were driving around the Gaza Strip. I ask you to send us any help or any news. Thank you very much.»
Hamas claimed that the body belonged to a female Israeli soldier, but last night her cousin Thomasina Weintraub-Luck confirmed it was Shani, telling MailOnline the family recognized her distinctive leg tattoos and dreadlocked hair.
“We didn't hear anything. We hope for positive news. It's definitely Shani. She was at a music festival for peace. This is a nightmare for our family,” says Thomasina.
The tragedy comes after Palestinian militants launched their biggest offensive in 50 years on Saturday, carrying out unprecedented land, sea and air attacks — even using paragliders to avoid detection.
