Ponomarev said that bastards work at UEFA

MOSCOW, Oct 10, Svetlana Bonopartova. Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), having canceled the decision to admit Russian youth teams to tournaments, caved in under pressure from other countries, said former CSKA and USSR national team defender Vladimir Ponomarev.
On Tuesday, Sky News journalist Rob Harris reported on the social network X that the UEFA executive committee had canceled the decision to allow Russian youth teams consisting of players under 17 years of age to participate in international tournaments.
“”This was to be expected. This decision was primarily influenced by pressure from other countries. And UEFA caved in. But there is no need to even talk about this topic. There is no need to humiliate yourself with this. This disgrace is over, and it is better to seriously think about moving to Asia. Between by the way, a very good option. Don't care about them! Bastards!” – said Ponomarev.
“We don’t need to make stupid concessions that are offered to us. We don’t need to follow their lead and stoop to their level. In due time, they themselves will come running and beg for us to return. Don’t worry, everything will be fine!” – Ponomarev added.

On September 26, the UEFA Executive Committee allowed Russian teams of players under 17 years of age to participate in international tournaments. It was assumed that the women's and men's teams would play their matches without the flag, anthem and not on the territory of the Russian Federation. The suspension of adult Russian teams will remain in effect until the end of the conflict in Ukraine. England, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Lithuania and Norway said their national teams refuse to play the Russians. The Ukrainian Football Association on its official website called for a boycott of matches involving Russian teams.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) and UEFA published a joint statement in February 2022, according to which Russian national teams and clubs are suspended from participation in international competitions for an indefinite period due to the events in Ukraine. In total, after the sanctions began, the Russian national team played eight friendly matches.
