MOSCOW, Oct. 11 White House idea of pooling aid to Israel and Ukraine is absolutely unacceptable, said US presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy on the social network X.
«This is a pathetic but predictable step. Now the White House is trying to tie funding to Ukraine (bad idea) to emergency aid to Israel (probably necessary for certain purposes ),” he was indignant.
Ramaswami also called not to compare the situation in Ukraine and Israel and not to put an equal sign between them. In his opinion, the parameter of involvement in each case should be the interests of the United States.
“The litmus test that we must use in each specific case is the same: what advances the interests of the United States,” the politician emphasized .
Earlier, the NBC television channel, citing an official of the American administration, reported that the White House was considering the possibility of linking assistance to Israel and Ukraine within one bill, so that Congress would simultaneously approve both initiatives.
