MOSCOW, October 12 Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak discussed with Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shakhbazov the possibility of expanding the Tikhoretsk-Baku oil pipeline to reverse oil from the Russian Federation, the Russian government reported .
«During the meeting with the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahbazov Parviz Ogtay ogly, issues of expanding cooperation between the two countries in the oil and gas, electric power and nuclear sectors were raised. The agenda of the negotiations included the possibility of expanding the Tikhoretsk — Baku oil pipeline for reverse supplies of Russian oil to Azerbaijan , as well as prospects for building technological cooperation between companies in Russia and Azerbaijan,” the message says.
