SIMFEROPOL, Oct. 16 Two residents of the Kherson region were injured, some seriously, as a result of Sunday shelling by Ukrainian troops of the settlements of Aleshki and Cossack Camps, the regional governor said Vladimir Saldo in his Telegram channel.
«Over the past day and last night, the enemy fired 93 shells at populated areas on the left bank of the Kherson region. Aleshki was subjected to especially heavy terrorist shelling, where an 82-year-old woman was seriously wounded. A 52-year-old civilian was wounded in the Cossack Camps,» — wrote Saldo.
During the counter-battery fight, military personnel of the Dnepr group of troops destroyed two howitzers and two mortars of the enemy with crews, the total losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to more than 40 militants, he added.
