MOSCOW, October 16 Aide to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov announced the composition of the Russian delegation at the negotiations in China between Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
«Russian-Chinese negotiations in an expanded format are scheduled for 11.30 (local time on October 18 — ed.). We have a really large delegation,» Ushakov said.
According to him, the Russian delegation will include Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Deputy Prime Ministers Alexander Novak and Dmitry Chernyshenko, Economy Minister Maxim Reshetnikov, Transport Minister Vitaly Savelyev, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Far East Development Minister and the Arctic Alexey Chekunkov, head of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Elvira Nabiullina, head of Rosfinmonitoring Yuri Chikhanchin, director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia Dmitry Shugaev. From the administration, Ushakov added, there will be presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov and presidential assistant Maxim Oreshkin.
The Russian delegation will also include General Director of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, Head of Sberbank German Gref, Head of VTB Andrey Kostin, General Director of Rosatom Alexey Likhachev, Head of Gazprom Alexey Miller, Head of Novatek Leonid Mikhelson, Head of «Rosneft» Igor Sechin, entrepreneur Gennady Timchenko, Chairman of VEB.RF Igor Shuvalov, RDIF General Director Kirill Dmitriev, noted the presidential assistant.
«Negotiations with the chairman in a narrow format — Lavrov, Ushakov and the Ambassador (of Russia to China Igor) Morgulov are participating in them,» Ushakov added.
