MOSCOW, Oct. 16 The Russian film “Lord of the Wind” again topped the box office with box office receipts of 100.6 million rubles in Russia and the CIS over the past weekend, the portal kinobusiness.com reported.
The film is about the traveler Fyodor Konyukhov, who in 2016 set a world record by flying around the planet in just 11 days, four hours and 20 minutes.
The second place was taken by the Russian cartoon “Smeshariki are making a movie” with receipts of 53.3 million. The film is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the heroes.
Next in the ranking is the comedy “Vasya is not himself,” which collected 46.6 million. The film stars Pavel Priluchny, Olga Kuzmina, Vladimir Sychev and others.
In fourth place is the Russian family comedy “Baba Yaga Saves the World,” which grossed 17 million rubles.
The list is closed by the thriller “The Revenant” with grosses of 16.6 million rubles.
